The Indian version of the X Factor was unveiled yesterday at a hotel in Bandra. The international show, developed by Simon Cowell, gives viewers the opportunity to choose the next musical megastar. The contestants who survive the first auditions will graduate to 'boot camp' and will then be divided into three categories -- 16 to 25 years, individuals over 25 years. The contestants' talent will be tested mercilessly until the top acts remain.
